The holiday house Le Antiche Mura is located a few steps from the famous way of Rome Cinema, Via Veneto.
It is overlooking the Aurelian walls, near Porta Pinciana, and is next to Villa Borghese, the most beautiful historic park of Rome.
Since the house is very central the car is not necessary, however there is the possibility of parking fee in the Villa Borghese parking (200 meters walk), in addition to municipal public areas.
It is in a strategic position for walking to the old town, the Borghese Gallery, the Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia, the zoo and the Pincio terrace, from which you can admire the panorama of Baroque Rome and get off at Piazza del Popolo.
In the area you can rent bicycles, electric cars and scooters to get around the center, but with a short walk in the most beautiful areas of Rome, you reach the metro stations of Piazza di Spagna (the center of shopping in Rome) and Piazza Barberini (National Gallery of Ancient Art).
Piazza San Pietro, the center of Christianity, is less than three kilometers, crossing Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti and across the Tevere river in front of Castel Sant’Angelo.
In these three km focus many of the major monuments of Rome: l’Ara Pacis Augustae, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Campo De’ Fiori, Fontana di Trevi, and just beyond Campidoglio, Fori Romani and Colosseo.
The holiday house Le Antiche Mura is well served by public transport: bus stops and taxi ranks are under the house.
A few steps you can find at every hour of the day bar, wine bars, pizzerias and traditional refined restaurants for all budgets and all tastes. This district is home theaters (the Teatro Sistina is a few hundred meters) and places where you can hear all kinds of music and allows you to experience cultural events tickets for fans of the genre.
